West Hollywood

With unparalleled culture and world-renowned events, West Hollywood has something for everyone.

Welcome to West Hollywood

This highly walkable enclave of L.A.’s — or perhaps the world’s — most famous neighborhood is as dynamic as you’d imagine, and the architecture is equally marvelous. With a huge number of charming bungalows in a relatively small geographical area, you can be sure the real estate opportunities are as exclusive as they are unparalleled. Sunset Square and Spaulding, in particular, are highly sought after, but as you’ll see, the entire flats area is also outstanding.

What to Love

  • Immeasurable character, in terms of the estates and culture of West Hollywood
  • Timeless 1920s and 1930s architecture
  • Iconic film-history nostalgia at every turn
  • Highly health-conscious and dog-friendly culture

Local Lifestyle

West Hollywood is one of the area’s most upscale neighborhoods, to be sure — and the locals also enjoy some of the most down-to-earth and life-affirming amenities of any SoCal luxury neighborhood. From its celebrity-owned restaurants to its world-class resorts, you can be sure you’re at the crest of the wave of innumerable international trends when living and playing in West Hollywood.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

The Melrose Avenue Shopping District features a huge number of deluxe salons, designer shops, and upscale dining options to choose from, including Paul Smith, which sells an eclectic range of designer apparel for both men and women.

West Hollywood also serves incredibly flavorful dining experiences. Jinpachi features all the top-quality sushi you could hope for this side of the Pacific, and you can try Connie and Teds for oysters and top-shelf champagne fit for New England royalty.

Crossroads Kitchen brings vegan dining to the most upscale levels imaginable, and its incredibly romantic motif is perfect for a special night out with your loved one. Located on iconic Sunset Boulevard, Tesse Restaurant is another chic and unique dining selection, serving a wide variety of decadent fare and artful cocktails from an upbeat and highly attentive staff. Of course, no visit is complete without experiencing Soho House West Hollywood  or the newly opened Holloway House — the perfect meeting space atop prime WeHo real estate. From here, you’ll get the perfect lay of the land while enjoying an impressive array of mouth-watering comfort food.

Things to Do

Hollywood wouldn’t be without its groundbreaking cinematic arts, encapsulated perfectly at The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. There is so much to see that it may require repeat visits to take it in fully. As for the community, nothing teaches you about the local culture like partaking in the neighborhood farmers market. Here, the Melrose Place Farmers Market occurs every Sunday and features the area’s most dedicated vendors of floral bouquets, year-round produce, and wares from local artisans.

Music lovers won’t have to travel far for the area’s best concerts, as the historic Hollywood Bowl amphitheater is only a short drive away. You can also count on West Hollywood for one of the most colorful L.A. PRIDE parades, and fitness adepts will immediately fall in love with the gorgeous views of the entire West Hollywood neighborhood as they hike, run, or bike through Runyon Canyon.

Of course, if your idea of a good time is to rest outside with your best company, the West Hollywood Dog Park is perfectly situated at the north end of the West Hollywood park and pool.

Schools

While West Hollywood is known chiefly for its vibrant and dynamic culture, it also hosts some of the highest-performing schools in the Central L.A. area. Students may attend:
