Where did you grow up? I'm an LA native, but don't let that give you the wrong impression! What is your favorite architectural style? I absolutely love a Spanish Revival with Mediterranean flair. The earthy, rustic terracotta rooftops, wooden doors, archways and indoor-outdoor spaces are perfect for California living. Favorite new restaurant is.. I'll go anywhere with good bread and butter, but The Barish at the Roosevelt Hotel is amazing! Strong martinis. Delicious pasta. Forget coffee, I'm all about high tea! What were you doing before you got into Real Estate? Casting for all your favorite movies and tv shows. Favorite thing to do in LA on a Sunday? Watch the sunset on the beach with a burrito. I'm a romantic. What is your favorite neighborhood in Los Angeles? Malibu is my number one, but I'm really loving Los Feliz lately! Describe your perfect date... I'd have to say April 25th, because it's not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket! |

In honor of April Fools Day, I have a riddle for you: What is good for you, great-looking and arrives – right on time - at your front door? (No, I am not talking about someone from the newest dating app.) It is -drumroll, please - delicious food from none other than the geniuses at Goop Kitchen! Now, I am a skeptic when someone tells me that clean-food can be just as yummy as REGULAR food, so I invited some friends over for a Take-Out Party so we could give the Goop Kitchen menu a spin. As it turns out, our night was a big success. With no refined sugars, processed foods, gluten, dairy, peanuts, or preservatives, this menu is next-level gorgeous to look at and the website is super easy to order from. Choose from bowls with greens & grains made of the freshest ingredients to entrees of Mary’s organic chicken or (when possible) sustainably-sourced fish, each accompanied by scrumptious sauces and marinades. There are even delectable pizzas and pasta (how can that be?)! The offerings are surprisingly inviting and they are all presented (for delivery or pick-up) in 100% recyclable/reusable containers. Can clean food really be so good? In a word, yes. We started with a few, Starters: Insalata Mista, packed with all the authentic tastes of Italy, from pickled pepperoncini, thin slices of pepperoni and Fontina cheese, and an absolute delish red wine vinaigrette; Thai Lettuce Wraps (with turkey or tofu) strut a combo of cilantro, mint, mango slaw, and spicy cucumbers will have you check your clean-food skepticism at the door. Next, we tried the sublime Oven roasted Japanese Sweet Potato with cashew vinaigrette. . Our Take-Out Party entrée was the crowd-pleasing Pepperoni Potts Pizza which (in addition to being a clever movie ref) hit all the high notes with its crispy cups of pepperoni, sharp pomodoro sauce and Fontina cheese, all topped with fresh basil. Our big mistake of the evening is that we didn’t order 4 pieces of the gluten-free carrot cake! Or the Gluten Free Pesto Pasta with marinated tomatoes and roasted sunflower seeds. Or, for that matter, we missed the Field of Greens pizza/salad combo with creamy pesto and peppery arugula. What were we thinking? The good news is, with three separate Los Angeles Goop Kitchens (Rotisserie; Superfina; and Kitchen), You can keep hosting take-out parties and continue surprising your skeptic friends!
